    Planning For the Thanksgiving Week!

Can you believe that it is Thanksgiving week!?!  I am so super excited for our plans this week and excited to spend Thanksgiving with some of my favorite family members that we don't get to see enough! Both of our parents with be staying in Kansas City so it will be sad not having them around but I know we will have great company around us!

I have lots of stuff to get ready for the road trip over the next couple of days! Someone is staying at our house so I have to make sure the house is nice and clean all before Wednesday, but I am using my planning skills to take some of the stress off! We are leaving bright in early in the morning Wednesday so my menu plan is going to be short this week!

    Monday-

    • Breakfast: Breakfast Burritos
    • Lunch: Turkey and Cheese Sandwiches, Cottage Cheese and Fruit
    • Dinner: Could possibly be going to a birthday party if not homemade pizza using the leftovers we have in the fridge.
    • To-Do List: Target, Paradise Park for Avery to get some energy out, drop off some stuff at parents house, make cookies and trail mix, finish all laundry and clean out car

    Tuesday-

    • Breakfast: Pancakes
    • Lunch: Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches and Chips
    • Dinner: Chicken Salad English Muffins and pick your own side
    • To-Do List: Make muffins, pumpkin and zucchini bread, finish packing, get everything in the car and a list ready for the morning to remember to add last minute, wash sheets and get bed ready.

Hope everyone has an awesome week and wonderful Thanksgiving!! I cant wait to see all the yummy recipes and pictures of your holiday adventures!

    4 Years of Marriage!

Today is my 4 year anniversary and I am hanging out in bed! Not the relax stay in bed for being a great wife kind of day,but the my throat is killing me, ears are pounding and nose is stuffed kind of day in bed. I hate it, but am hoping it will go away quick!

The funny part of it is that 4 years ago when I married my hubs I was sick as a dog! My bridesmaids had to carry a pack of kleenex up on the alter with me and my father in law, who was the minister in the wedding, had to keep taking my used up ones.Guess my body is just trying to remind me of the lovely day in every way that it can!

The past four years have been wonderful with lots of up and downs. Each day new challenges are thrown at us but we endure them together. B is my rock and I love him very much. He really is one of the only people who are sane enough to put up with me!

Love You B, Happy 4 Years and Many More!

    Recovering!

Wow what a busy weekend! I am exhausted and the house is a bit of shambles at the moment! I don't mean to take a blogging break but until I get things caught back up around here, I will be away! I cant wait to get blogging again but more importantly my house needs some work, my psychology thesis is a bit behind and my daughter needs a good nap! Avery was great as I expected but after three days of go go going she is ready and due for a few good days of sleep. Her nighttime sleep is also a bit off, she was sharing a bed with us and while she seemed to sleep, I dont think any of us got a good full night sleep. I know I for one will be taking a nap and going to bed very early tonight!

Be back very soon and thanks for sticking around while I recover!
