Hi, welcome to Cooking Up A Family! My name is Courtney and I am a stay-at-home mom and housewife, writing about my passions in Missouri. I run around all day chasing our daughter, Avery born in March 2007 and keeping our rambunctious yellow lab Alex,away from her! We also have a beautiful angel Ashlyn Rose who was born into heaven on December 2,2008. Everyday is a new challenge but always a fun learning experience!
I am currently in the process of getting our family and house in order as we embark on this new journey in our life. God has shown me how he is in control and I am at peace with the results so far and trust the future will still be amazing. We are trying to enjoy the life that we have and just remember our sweet lovebug in heaven and look forward to our family and its future.
My goal for the blog is share recipes that I feel are good, but I cant guarantee that the pictures will look great! I also want to share our journey with going on after a full term stillbirth and how we love and cherish her as much as we can. Lastly I want to share my journey of becoming more natural or as my husband calls me, a hippie! I hope to review my favorite product and books that help me through my journey.
